Rusty Patterson wins 1st Place at the Ruston Peach Festival

Rusty Patterson won 1st Place at the Ruston Peach Festival this past weekend.
Rusty Patterson won a 1st Place ribbon for woodturning at the Melrose Plantation Arts & Crafts Festival, and Don Hudnall won a 1st Place ribbon for pottery. Congratulations to both members!

Charlie Heck's Majesty of Farming, a black and white photograph, was accepted into Masur Museum of Art's 47th Annual Juried Competition.

Allen Harrison's Shrimper, a color photograph was the winning entry for Louisiana Life Magazine's April 2010 contest.

Members Allen Harrison, Charlie Heck, Donna McGee, and Linda Snider Ward will be art exhibitors at the Downtown ArtFest in Monroe, Louisiana, Saturday, June 5, 2010, 2-6pm. Linda & Donna will share a tent.

Linda Snider Ward's drawing Attitude is Everything, a portrait of a young girl, was accepted into the Colored Pencil Society of America's 18th International Exhibition, Los Gatos, California, July 22 - August 20, 2010.

At the 53rd annual spring exhibition of the Hoover Watercolor Society in Shreveport, Louisiana (March 4-April 25), Mary E. Jones won a Fredrix Company Merchandise Award (honorable mention), Anne R. Eberle won a Fredrix Company Merchandise Award (honorable mention), and Joyce Beauvais won the Dr. H.B. Wright Memorial Award (5th place). Donna McGee was juried into the show as well. The juror was Laurin McCracken of Fort Worth, Texas.
